Blending heavy guitar riffs with an intense rhythm section and powerful, vocals, Northern Ohio's Cloudy Water rocks with a power and energy unparalleled to that of other average rock bands.
Formed in 2000, the combination of Jeremy (lead vocals and guitar), Chris (bass and vocals) and Bryan (drums and vocals) has allowed this aggressive hard rock band to successfully merge aggressive songwriting, striking musicianship and an infectious live show. The combination of these elements have led to the unique sound that is Cloudy Water. Priding themselves in being the loudest, heaviest and most powerful three piece rock group in the local rock scene. Their sound has been compared to Godsmack, Black Sabbath, Nirvana and newer acts such as Seether and Chevelle. Cloudy Water uses deep and rhythmic bass riffs complimented by perfectly timed drum beats to create the rhythm section of the groups distinct sound. This sets the stage for the gnarly guitar melodies and haunting vocal lines, that help round out Cloudy Waters distinct brand of hard rock.
Together, these three musicians bring an explosive energy to their recordings. Cloudy Water's first official EP is currently in the works with promises to set the standard for hard rock bands to follow. With their upfront, move out of the way or get ran over attitude, this EP will be the best recording the band has ever produced. Known mostly for their entergetic & aggressive live shows, the guys have gone to Limelight Studios to capture some of the energy and emotion from their live shows. Cloudy Water hopes to have everthing wrapped up by Fall 2006 and pack the following months full of local events.
Cloudy Water's focus is on creating engaging songs and showcasing them in a strong live performance. This philosophy and a strong work ethic has enabled them to establish a small but very faithful fanbase. The guys pride themselves in playing every show like it is their last and having a good time while doing it. The guys resume includes nearly every venue in Northeast Ohio, including Peabody's, The Hi Fi Club, The Odeon and The Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame. That experience and passion for the music is going to push Cloudy Water to the next level.
