First Step Fall is the outcome of what used to be a thriving local scene in the small town of Arcade, NY. Tyler and Derek were founding members of the ever changing and popular Half Way Gone. Matt and Dave were always head to head with Half Way Gone in the Punk/Ska/Metal band Almost Action Heroes. After Almost Action Heroes, Matt played drums for Come The Dawn and Guitar for The Ottomans...Dave played bass for Sullivan Avenue and aLIEfades. Tyler, Derek, and Matt started playing grad and birthday parties telling everyone they were a 'secret band.' But it worked, so they decided to run with it. The addition of Dave on lead guitar filled out the line-up and is sure to bring you into their performance with amazing stage presence and the will to do whatever it takes to get the crowd involved as much as possible! Make sure you keep an eye out for these guys, because it won't be long before they're out and running with the big boys!
