MY BLACK LIGHT was born in February 2008 from Rudy and Monica's common passion for music and for the well known Dutch band Within Temptation. This brings them to start the first Italian tribute band to Within Temptation. So they call to cooperate Edo, Marco and Lello and the line up is so complete. They create their repertoire and begin to play in various live clubs in North Italy. After a year of shows together they are very close and get along well and they obtain a good success so that they decide, on the first days of 2009, to write their own songs.
They keep playing as tribute band but during their concerts they start proposing their songs that obtain a general consent. In Autumn 2009 MY BLACK LIGHT starts pre-recording their first CD.

My Black Light nascono nel febbraio 2008 dalla comune passione che hanno Rudy e Monica per la musica e per la celebre band olandese Within Temptation. E' proprio questa passione che li spinge a proporsi come primo tributo italiano ai WT chiamando a collaborare al progetto Edo, Marco e Lello . Completata così la formazione i My Black Light danno vita al loro repertorio che propongono in diversi locali del nord Italia..l'affiatamento tra i musicisti dopo un anno di intensa attività live ed il crescente seguito riscosso porta la band, nei primi mesi del 2009, alla decisione di comporre musica propria;
Sempre mantendendo attivo il progetto tributo iniziano a proporre durante i concerti i primi loro inediti riscuotendo molti consensi.
Nell'autunno del 2009 i My Black Light iniziano la preproduzione del loro primo disco
