Die Suche nach einem Schlagzeuger und einem Bassisten war schnell erledigt, die Wahl fiel auf Pat hinter den Drums und auf Seb am Bass. Kurze Zeit später traf man Shermy bis Juli 2009 Lead-Sänger der Band.
Seit August 2009 arbeiten die vier Jungs nun hart an komplett neuem Material für die Ohren der Zuhörer, immer mit dem bestreben besser zu werden. Pop-Punk, nennt sich das Material, das die Jungs umsetzen, d.h. schöne Melodien mit Ohrwurm Garantie.
Auch durch den Erfolg im Jahr 2009 diverser Bandcontests, reizt es die Jungs immer weiter nach oben zu kommen. Vorallem eben durch weiche rythmische Riffs und fröhliche Texte, die aus dem Alltag stammen, sprich über das Leben, (Gedanken, Wünsche) und selbstverständlich der Liebe handeln, bringen die Jungs immer wieder die Masse zum toben und verleitet sie zum mitsingen."The Smiling Kisses" stehen auf jeder freien Bühne, egal wie groß sie ist, es darf auch mal der Partykeller oder das Wohnzimmer eines Kumpels sein! The wish and the ambition to create something new was the reason for Dome (Guitar & Vocals) and Jimmy (Guitar) to form a band. They wanted to create something you won’t forget. A name which reflects these ideas was quickly found, The Smiling Kisses.
The search for a drummer and a bassist was quickly done. They plumped for Pat behind the drums and for Seb at the Bass. Some days later they met Shermy, lead singer until july 2009.
Since august 2009 the four boys are working very hard on new material for your ears, with the ambition to become better and better. The sound which the five boys create is named Pop Punk. It means nice melodies with catchy tune guarantee.
The success on various band contests in 2009 excites the boys on and on to come upwards. Especially by soft rhythm reefs and happy lyrics which are influenced by everyday live, like about thoughts and wishes and of course the love, the boys tempt the mass to rave and to join them in the singing. The Smiling Kisses are playing on every free stage, no matter how big this stage is. It could be also the party room or the living room of a mate.(c)
