For some reason, Benjamin was glad to join their group which by that time didn't have actual songs, not to mention a place to rehearse. And the other three gladly welcomed him despite the fact that he didn't play an instrument.
But things mysteriously fell into place, a rotten cellar was found, the bass player started playing bass, and they "composed" their first own musical material (if you can call it that).
So a few years, not too many concerts, and hundreds of band names later, Young Hungry now seem to have reached the point where they can finally listen to their own recordings. Their first release "Sing Sing", available on iTunes, has actually gained them a first broadcast interview (missed it? We too), daily radio airplay (freq. 94.5), as well as a gig at Basel's Jugendkulturfestival 2009 and other renowned local venues. They are even working on their second EP at this very moment; due release is early 2010. And once they're done they'll go on playing concerts, writing songs, trying to get better. Or stay good. Or loud, at least.
