Qu'est-ce que S'way ?
On parle là d'un groupe formé par 4 jeunes musiciens de la côte ouest française, plus précisément du Pays de la Loire. Se sentant retenus par leurs obligations étudiantes, ils dédient tout leur temps libre à la musique qui leur est si chère. Cette formation, soudée par une très forte amitié, a vu le jour en Octobre 2009 et a su prouver par la suite qu'elle ne manquait pas de ressources en ce qui concerne la créativité, l'ambition et l'énergie débordante lors de ses prestations. Ayant envie de s'exprimer à leur propre manière, les S'way se plongent directement dans un esprit de composition. Ils ont tout d'abord commencé par un rock plutôt pop, influencé par une multitude de groupes issus de la vague du pop punk californien, des années 90 à nos jours. Puis, avec le temps, ils ont réussi à forger leur propre identité musicale, illustrée par leur EP "Nocturnal Activities" qui mélange à la fois rock progressif, rock alternatif et punk rock. Le tout avec un brin d'humour qui souligne leur volonté de s'éclater en partageant leur univers.

So, what's S'way ?
We're talking about a band composed of 4 young musicians from the west coast of France, who live precisely in a region called "Pays de la Loire". Although trapped in their studies, they dedicate all their spare time to playing music, their one and only passion. The four of them, strengthened by a remarkable friendship, started off in October 2009 and have managed to prove since then, how creative, ambitious and intensely energetic on stage they can actually be. Feeling the need to express themselves in their own individual way, S'way never hesitated and decided that composing and writing their own material was the only way forward. It all began with a certain obsession with the 90's californian pop punk phase, and the whole wave that followed. Then, as time went on, the guys started to spread their wings and create their own sound, their own musical identity, perfectly illustrated by their EP "Nocturnal Activities" which mixes some prog rock, a bit of alternative rock and a pinch of punk. Add a nice dose of playground humour and you've got S'way's very own recipe !
