These Young men from Kent have been working hard and making waves, giging all over the London curcuit.
They've got fire in their bellies and musket smoke billowing from their storytelling guns.
Gentlemen Duke have released their Debut EP 'Whistle And Flute' at the beginning of the year and they have also just finished recording three more of their toe tapping tunes, to be released later this year.
2011 has set the momentum of these folky four with no sign of slowing them down.
ForFolkSake.com named Gentlemen Duke in Glastonbury's Emerging Talent Contest, saying,
- "Gentlemen Duke produce romping little ditties with wonderful playful strings overlapping rockin’ tunes that, in the case of Calamity Jane, recall the Coral at their best."
