In 2001, Androide released its first album, Normal. The album featured break-beats, house and rock, all combined to form a unique blend of music. Around this time, Androide shared the stage with groups such as Nortec (Tijuana, Mexico), and Nopal Beat (Guadalajara, Mexico). Androide also had a residency at La Jungla Bar, and had shows in Chihuahua City, and el Paso TX. Androide also played at the MUJER Festival, sharing the stage with Ozomatli and Sparta.
In the summer of 2002, Androide began working on their second album, Panacea, which was released in the summer of 2003. In this album, house, breakbeats and lounge sounds are combined and the result is an eclectic album. During that year, androide had presentations in Ciudad Juárez, El Paso and Guadalajara.
At the end of 2003, Androide’s track Automatiq was added to the track list of Maximas Texturas 010 CD, a compilation album featuring electronic music from artists in Mexico. Along with the track being featured on the CD, Androide was also invited to play in Mexico City at the anniversary celebration for Discos Konfort, one of Mexico’s most important electronic music label. Androide shared the stage with members of Konfort, Soundsister, Atraxia (Mexico City), Abolipop (Guadalajara), and other acts from the noted Static Records Label. The Máximas Texturas 010 album, received the best compilation award in the 2004 Quartz Awards in France.
San Telmo, from the Panacea album, appeared on Electronic Latin Freaks, a Spanish compilation CD released in Europe in the Fall of 2004. The album features artists such as Capri, Kinky, Titán and The pinker tones.
Androide was also part of the Canadian compilation The Now sound of Mexico which was released in November 2004.
In May 2005, androide participated in a compilation album sponsored by tequila Cuervo, for the 5 de Mayo celebration party in London.
In September 2005, androide and discos Konfort released, Prazer.
