    IT'S SEMI-FINALS TIME IN DUBLIN!

The Irish finals were approaching and all the bands did their best to get a chance to rock Vicar Street in Dublin. But so few places... Wednesday, March 28th The first semi-finals night offered our ears a lot of great sound, especially with the original music of Simon and the Ghost or with the rocking band Corsairs. But on Wednesday was the rock-metal played by Naxalite and Crescendo Rising’s hard-rock to win a slot on Vicar Street stage. Thursday, March 29th On Thursday, the cover band Silken got also the right to rock the big venue. Then took the stage Stillroom, that thanks to a very precise rock will participate to the finals with the power-rock trio Lint. Radio Prague came 1st this night with an extraordinary electro-pop show animated by a crazy robot on stage. Friday, March 30th Friday was a quiet night according to the audience but a noisy one according to the stage delivering power and distorted guitars. Petrochemical Accelerator and his Pantera-like metal have shown us some good stuff telling everyone that Dimebag Darrell has some spiritual sons in Ireland. Open Door Policy played a very interesting pop-punk music and we will be glad to hear them once again in Vicar Street. Saturday, March 31th Saturday was really hard for the crowd to choose the best band because skills were quite high. Brighton Avenue kicked off the night and even with some technical problems played a very nice set. Then Djinn’s trash-metal came very loud from the TBMC’s speakers qualifying the band for the finals. The Rip Tide with their tight blues-rock and Cameostate playing a cool Alternative rock got the last two tickets for the Finals. It''s going to be for sure a great final in Vicar Street, the next 26th May. Hope you’ll be there: you have no excuse not to support the band of your choice and sent it to Germany for the worldwide finals on Taubertal Open Air Festival…
