    Shakedown at the Majestic formed in 2008 out of the ashes of Suede Silhouette, where Taylor Nimtz and Chris Vermillion first played together. With Stephen Frandsen now on bass, and with keyboardist Jonathan Vermillion departed, the band found a harder, more energetic feel to their 60's-inspired pop melodies. Drawing on such the inspiration of the Beatles, Doo-Wop, the Beach Boys, jazz standards, Chuck Berry and AC/DC, Shakedown at the Majestic craft tight, danceable, stick-in-your-head melodies with infectious, vibrant harmonies and interweaving vocals that will leave you singing their tunes days after one of their upbeat, energetic live shows.
