    TOP STORIES
THE SILLIES were Detroit's first punk rock band, second billed to their friends The MC5 at their debut in 1977. The Sillies toured the U.S. and Canada by themselves as well as with Johnny Thunders and The Heartbreakers. They shared shows with The Damned, The Dead Boys, The Cramps, and other peers. The Sillies CD "AMERICA'S MOST WANTON" was released in 2002 to rave reviews and included guest musicians Wayne Kramer and Dennis Thompson (MC5) and Bob Wilson (Bob Dylan session organist). The Sillies have also donated songs for Melbourne, Australia's PBS radio station and Face First's "Break Your Face" international indie CD. Get more info and free video at thesillies.com.
