Emergenza festival is the world's largest champion of unsigned up-coming bands. It takes place everywhere throughout the world. In many cities in Europe as well as across the atlantic, through Asia, including Japan and Oceania, musicians of all sorts, can participate with their own songs. Cover songs are tolerated but not encouraged. It is a musical marathon that encompasses some of the most prestigious stages in some of the best venues in the world. From January to June, the bands participate in a knockout contest, progressing from heat to heat. At the end of each of the concerts, the audience vote for their favorite band of the evening. The band picked by the public then moves forward to the next stage of the Festival. The goal is to reach the International Final and share the bill with established performers. The winners then have the opportunity to tour through Europe.
