    Originalmente, "The Xarrots" ( anteriormente JoanLaia ), nació como un duo en 2011 formado por Joan Alemany (guitarra) y Laia Salvador (voz), que tras componer nuestras primeras canciones comenzamos a tocar por bares y locales en formato acústico.
    La acogida del publico era buena asi que decidimos ampliar la banda añadiendo un batería y un bajista, un nuevo formato que nos permite expandir nuestra creatividad y mostrarla con una mayor energía.

    Entre finales de 2012 y principios de 2013 grabamos nuestro primer album producido por Stefano Maccarrone (Mendetz).

    Tenemos un repertorio de más de 30 canciones propias, inspiración para componer muchas más, influencias musicales variadas y muchas ganas de seguir creciendo y repartiendo emociones al público para el que tengamos el placer de poder tocar.


    Originally, "The Xarrots", was born in 2011 as a duo formed by Joan Alemany (guitar) and Laia Salvador (voice), which after composing our first songs. started playing at local bars with acoustic format.
    The response from the public was good so we decided to expand the band by adding a drummer and a bassist, a new format that allows us to expand our creativity and show it with greater energy.

    Between late 2012 and early 2013 we recorded our first album produced by Stefano Maccarrone (Mendetz).

    We have a repertoire of over 30 original songs, inspiration to compose many more, varied musical influences and eager to continue growing, giving emotions to the public for which we have the pleasure of playing.
