    TOP STORIES
Stage Of Existence also known as SOE has grown into a widely liked heavy melodic monster. You can listen to the evidence in their radio friendly demo with its modern rock/metal style.

The band formed in early 2004 when singer/songwriter Brian Runkel met drummer Brandon MacWilliams through his ad in the Austin Chronicle. After the rhythm section was formed, Brian remembered a guitarist that he met from the former band “Sacred Realm”. Aj Lujano was the perfect fit.

Their technical drum chops, inspired by Danny Carey and Mike Portnoy added to the emotional guitar leads and intricate rhythms filled with the full bass licks and vocal melodies make this band the ultimate trio.

    Let the madness begin….

"What appeals to me is the contrast of the soaring vocals over the dark, heavy, somewhat hypnotic undercurrent of the rest of the band."
    - Loris Lowe, Music Director, KLBJ-FM

"SOE found that unique sound that every rock band in Austin has been searching for..."
    - Jay Nichols Jbonefx.com

"SOE is power with taste. Soaring melodic vocals over fat guitar and a rock-solid rhythm section. No weak links here..."
    - Sharon Arthur, Dirty Dog Bar - Austin, TX
