These are the foundations on which The Understatement is built.
Composed from former members of deceased bands, The Understatement began playing together in June 2006. Still young in terms of the lifespan of a rock band, but ever so eager to show the local scene what they can do. With multiple local & city shows under their belt including Fisher’s Gig 2006 and support spots with Syndonia, Kill The Capitol & Me vs. You, the band is steadily progressing in the Australian music scene gaining new fans every show.
2008 looks to be a promising year for the band with regular shows at city venues and their forth coming EP titled ‘So Blind’ soon to be released, The Understatement hope to leave their mark on Australian music.
