You can't compare these guys to anything else

In an Anglo-dominant music world how difficult it is to overcome the language barrier ? Almost impossible you’d say? Well, tonight Than proved you wrong. Japanese words flowed elegantly and passionately and by the crowd’s reactions you could tell that the feelings and emotions didn’t fail to reach the non-Japanese speakers. It may be the exotic language, the lights on this evening, or the emotional dancing we saw onstage…we don’t know, but the point is: this is probably the most intriguing performance of this first day so far.
What is almost impossible with Than is to make them fit in a definite music genre. They are real alternative. Their music is alternative. Full stop.
Go see them live, that's all we can say.
Should the judges pick them as winner of this year finals, a new equilibrium will probably be born in the music world.
