How did you hear about Emergenza and what made you want to take part?

Googled band competitions in Sydney.

Tell us a bit about the song-writing process?  Does the music come first and then the lyrics, or do the lyrics influence the sound of each song?

Typically a tune will come that well record, the lyrics are added later.

Well also then have ideas fir topics that we can make each song about.

How did the band come together?

For my wedding. We've all been playing for years (together and apart).. So this was my "dream band" for the wedding.. And we stayed together after we realised how good it was!

Which of your songs do you enjoy performing the most?

Hard to say as we've only a handful of originals at the moment.. We're our playing covers most weekends in pubs.. But we're now looking towards doing more originals ...

Sorrow is my favourite song we have at the moment... But we've not played our songs in public ever before, do next week will be the debut of a few.

If you could have played at any music festival (in your lifetime or the past) which would it have been?

The yearly blues festival in byron bay.

Finally, how does it feel when the crowd are alive and rocking out to your show?

There's no feeling like it.. Hence we've been playing for 30 years, no matter how old we get and how much younger our audiences get, were all still very driven to perform.
