Your first gig for Emergenza is a few days away, how do you feel?
We are super stoked to be preforming and we know we are gonna put on a good show for everyone.
What can the audience expect from you guys?
A weird kind of psychedelic rock vibe with lots of energy.
How did you end up playing music together?
We would all jam in the music room at school and things started sounding pretty cool so we wrote a couple of our own tracks. We think thats how a band works.
Any hidden messages behind your band name? Who came up with the name and how?
We were having a practise sesh before recording our first song when we first decided we we're gonna do the whole band thing. It was a lot of laughs and food and good tunes but we still didn't have a name and every idea sounded really.. dumb, none of the names we thought of had any heart. Then one of our mates came into the room we were rehearsing in just to suss it out (and steal some food). He picked up a coke bottle, took a sip and then gestured to our bassist Dan and asked if he wanted the bottle. This is when Dan replied with "What? The whole bottle full?". Instantly it sounded like a band name so we dropped the 'The' and became 'Whole Bottle Full'. It
has a positive spin on it and we reckon it's a good way to look at life.
'Whole Bottle Full' is headlining the ultimate dream festival? Which legendary bands (past or present) would you want to play along with?
Jimi Hendrix, Tame Impala and Daddy Cool even though we don't sound like them.
Are there any artists who have influenced the bands style?
We all listen to very different music; metal, punk, rock, psych even macedonian. So when we come together we all bring different influences to the table and end up sounding like we do.
Finally, why should the audience vote for Whole Bottle Full at 24 Moons?
We love what we do and we are there to play some tunes and make sure everyone is going to have as much of a good time as us. If they dig it they should vote.
