They're ready to make Australia mosh again!

    It's Reality Dreaming

How did you guys meet and start playing music together?

Our drummer (Ambrose) and most frequent lead singer/rhythm guitarist
(Raph) met through mutual piano teacher and started jamming in his house
early 2012, soon followed by Trott brothers Daniel and Mitchell, who met
Raph through school, on guitars and keyboards/vocals respectively. Early
2014 we acquired our current bassist/vocalist Nik, through a local youth
group and guitarist/vocalist Ben, who got to know Raph and Daniel through
    Music at school

    2)      Just how difficult was it coming up with a band name that you all
    liked?

It was quite difficult coming up with a  name, as we are an eclectic
sounding group who didn't want to be segregated into a certain genre of
music based on our band name. We all liked Reality Dreaming as it is a bit
different and only sounds as ridiculous as say Foo Fighters

    3)      What are your musical influences?

Our musicial influences vary from member to member, from heavy metal,
to musical theatre, to jazz, but when it comes to songwriting, artists like
Royal Blood, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Wombats, as well as
    Faith No More

    4)      If you weren?t playing the instrument you currently play, what
would you love to play instead?

Probably triangle or tambourine, that stuff is brutal

    5)      Do you sing about personal experiences in your songs? How do you
feel exposing your heart on stage?

As lyricists most of what we write balances a fine line between emotion
and intellect, but we tend to write from personal experiences as well as
experiences we've heard from other friends. We find performing these songs
while making us vulnerable also empowers us to rock who we are both on and
off stage, as well connects with listeners who have gone through similar
    experiences

    6)      What can the audience expect to hear from you guys at The Lair @
    Metro?

The audience can expect a set of indie dazzlers and alt heavy rock
bangers. Expect to enjoy yourselves immensely, got a few EP tracks to
    debut. Make Australia Mosh Again.

    7)      Any secrets about the band? Something that no one knows?

Our musician crushes outnumber our real life crushes both past and
present probably ten to one. If were being modest.
