Ioda Rosa, formerly known as Broadmeadows!

Their sexually magnetic stage presence will blow your fedora off!

Congratulations on getting through to the semi finals. How did it feel when you found out that you made it to the next round?

It was pretty mad to know that people enjoyed what we were doing. Our music isn't the easiest to digest on first listen, so to get through on votes vindicates what we're trying to do.

Are you going to make any changes to your set for the semi finals?

We've been going ham since the last gig. We're playing a bunch of fresh material that will be off an upcoming album. We released our first album at the beginning of August.

How long have you guys been playing together? How did the band come together?

We came together in the winter of 2014. We've all been studying albums pretty intensely our whole lives and decided we finally had the knowledge, the belief, the power and the will to make it happen. We were also just bored 20 year olds.

Describe your sound to someone who has never heard you play before.

We kind of sound like Sky Goes Pink, A Dolphin's Childhood. We write music that tries first and foremost not to be boring or predictable. There's something in there for everyone.

What do Ioda Rosa have planned for the rest of the year?

We plan on having another release by the end of the year and we plan on writing a shit-tonne of new material on top of what we already have.

How do you promote your music?

We promote our music on facebook, instagram and twitter and our first album *'Ferris Wheel'* is available on bandcamp and souncloud. I must add though, it is a very liberal use of the word "promote", we just put that shit up there and hope someone sees it.

Finally, why should you get voted through to the finals at Ding Dong lounge?

Because our original material in conjunction with our sexually magnetic stage presence will blow your fedora off.
