How did you guys meet and start playing music together?

Jake and Sasa went to high school together and started the Deep Cast band 13 years ago.

Clinton the drummer joined the band in 2015 to complete the Deep Cast band.

Just how difficult was it coming up with a band name that you all liked?

The band had 2 concepts with the words Cast and Deep. They applied many words to these two ideas. They came to a realisation if they put the  two words together the name Deep Cast was created.

If you weren’t playing the instrument you currently play, what would you love to play instead?

Jake (lead guitarist) would play drums

Sasa ( vocals/bass) would play guitar

Clinton (drums) would play piano

Do you sing about personal experiences in your song? How do you feel exposing your heart on stage?

Some of our songs are from personal experience and some we create from other people's experiences. We just tap into an energy of what something would be like and wander from there lyrically & musically.

What can the audience expect to hear from you guys at The Lair @ Metro on Wednesday?

A blend of rock flavoured from all over ages... audience will feel estranged of our tastes on the tip of their tongue… then the after taste will have them discover a new recipe!
