I'm a one man band and I've been at it for about 3 years now, though I've been rapping ever since the age of 17, when I wrote the worst rap ever that will hopefully never see the light of day.

My real name is Jonny and Freesh is inspired by Stan's Dad Randy in that South Park episode when he gets addicted to cooking television shows. Cafeteria Freeeeeesh.

DISCUSS YOUR LOCAL ORIGINAL MUSIC SCENE. HEALTHY? SAD? ARE YOU OPTIMISTIC?
Well I'm not a local but the scene here in Melbourne is flourishing. The only problem is that it's hard to choose what show to attend on any given night. It's a big upgrade on Bali, where I lived before here. I'm very optimistic for the future here, especially seeing all the talented young emcees in the city making music that is both pleasing to the ear and to the mind.
