This three piece Sydney band have a positive view on their local music scene and we cannot agree with them more!




1) WHAT SORT OF SOUND CAN THE PUBLIC EXPECT FROM YOUR BAND??

Funky tunes with a big generous cut of Steak! :D

2) HOW DID YOU ALL MEET & HOW LONG HAS THE BAND BEING TOGETHER?

We have been together for just over a month and met our guitarist online! Everything just seemed to fall into place :)

3) YOUR BAND’S NAME: WHO CHOSE IT? REALLY GUYS….NO LIES ALLOWED OK? ;)…DISCUSS PLEASE

Kip chose it! We are named after a bridge that connects the two countries of Singapore and Malaysia together cause Kip is half Singaporean and half Malaysian. The name was suppose to be temporary, but it developed alot of meaning and so it stuck! We realised that we wanted to share our music not just to express ourselves, but to Connect with our audience and share the same emotions and feelings with them :)

4) DISCUSS YOUR LOCAL ORIGINAL MUSIC SCENE. HEALTHY? SAD? ARE YOU OPTIMISTIC?

Im optimistic about the local scene. We have heard some great pub bands play with such passion and many young musicians just like us that have yet to be heard! Theres great music everywhere just waiting to appear :)

5) IF YOU CAUGHT YOUR BEST FRIEND’S LITTLE BROTHER LISTENING TO REALLY CRAP EUROTRASH DANCE MUSIC, WOULD YOU:

6) DESCRIBE YOUR EXPERIENCE AT THE LAIR DURING THE EMERGENZA COMPETITION (backline,  technical team, punters etc tc)

It was an AMAZING experience! The crowd were responsive and the sound guy was very helpful :) Rhys did a good job too 

7) …...AND FINALLY, IF YOU'D WON EMERGENZA FESTIVAL AUSTRALIA AND WENT TO GERMANY TO PLAY THE HUGE STAGE AND COULD ONLY TAKE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING WITH YOU WHAT WOULD IT BE?

So there you have it.....the three piece new band had a blast at their first Emergenza gig at the Metro.
