WHAT SORT OF SOUND CAN THE PUBLIC EXPECT FROM YOU AT THE EVELYN?

Well, essentially it's just shit with elements of all genres so come and see for yourself.

At the gig we'll mostly be playing old songs that were written a couple of years ago but we're in the middle of making a new album that will have a different sound to the previous stuff.

HOW DID YOU ALL MEET & HOW LONG HAS THE BAND BEING TOGETHER?

Shitsack and I (RomPa) met in 2011 and after playing random shit for a while we ended up forming the project "Spinal Cord Ejaculation" and "Regurgitated Vaginal Shit Vomit". After a couple of years with SxCxEx we got tired of it and decided to do Cuntshit in 2013. Since then it's kept evolving into what it is now.

Within the last year we've found the session musicians Timoth (on bass) and Benny G Mahn (on drums) so now we're able to play live.

THE NAME: WHY CUNTSHIT? WHO CHOSE IT? REALLY GUYS….NO LIES ALLOWED OK? ;)…….AND BY THE WAY, DON’T YOU THINK IT’S A BIT “STRONG"?

Cuntshit is a metaphor for what comes out of a vagina after it's been ejaculated into nine months prior. Shitsack came up with the name in 2012-2013.

Originally the band was formed to kill time and extract negative emotions out of people. Once it started escalating and more people found us we thought we should spread the message of Anti-Natalism, promote and support suicide, heavy drug use and total destruction of the planet.

DISCUSS YOUR LOCAL ORIGINAL MUSIC SCENE. HEALTHY? SAD? ARE YOU OPTIMISTIC?

The original music scene in Melbourne is sad  and horrible, just like everywhere else in the world. This includes our band.
