WHAT SORT OF SOUND CAN THE PUBLIC EXPECT FROM YOU AT THE EVELYN?

 Good old cock rock! :) butt seriously, we have been described as 'an eclectic electric mix of hard pop rock bastards' that will, and to quote Jack Black, "make you come out of your ear pussy's" :P

HOW DID YOU ALL MEET & HOW LONG HAS THE BAND BEING TOGETHER?

 It started with the big bang, atoms happened, stars exploded thus planet's formed and we were drawn together with the power of a thousand gods. This happened roughly eight months ago.

THE NAME: WHY PAPERHEARTS? WHO CHOSE IT? REALLY GUYS….NO LIES ALLOWED OK? ;)

We felt the name PaperHearts, while encompassing the general vibe and our style of music, also brings a great visual image to  mind. As well as, figuring that it's something everyone can relate to, since everyone has a paper (drum roll please!)

DISCUSS YOUR LOCAL ORIGINAL MUSIC SCENE. HEALTHY? SAD? ARE YOU OPTIMISTIC?

 We live in Melbourne, it has the most the musician's per capita out of anywhere in the southern hemisphere. So yeah, there are a lot of great bands, and a lot of really great original music...aka 'the competition' hahaha. But in general, we are optimistic about new music, and less optimistic about new musical opportunities. Saying that, the Australian music industry is notoriously hard to crack, unless you happen to be a part of the cast from 'Neighbours' blah!
