We know Suns of Cascadia because the boys made the finals in the past but although we interviewed them before we never asked them a couple of cheeky question like question 4 and 5.......

Oscar Chavez, a known face around Sydney venues showed millions how to sing (properly I may add) on Telly some time back, now it's time to rock the Sydney audiences with new songs and they fancy themselves as real title contenders.


Here's what the man himself had to say on behalf of the boys.....watch out for answer on question3......to say deep is an understatement.


WHAT SORT OF SOUND CAN THE PUBLIC EXPECT FROM YOU AT THE LAIR?

Something uniquely created to be a fusion between rock and prog rock. We love our music to have familiar likeability, but feeling like something that is brand new!

HOW DID YOU ALL MEET & HOW LONG HAS THE BAND BEING TOGETHER?

The band has been together for circa 5 years,  people in the band have changed an only 2 original members remain.  With each change comes a sound change to develop something we are really happy with

THE NAME: WHY SUNS OF CASCADIA? WHO CHOSE IT? REALLY GUYS….NO LIES ALLOWED OK? ;)

Cascadia is a planet where there are things none of us have ever seen before. There are unparalleled dangers on Cascadia and there were 5 warriors who have gone to Cascadia to eradicate all foes and the demons that are trying to destroy the peace. Cascadia is an incredibly hot place where there is no night time because there are several suns that revolve around it. Cascadia is our planet and our music, its soundtrack.

IF YOU CAUGHT YOUR BEST FRIEND’S LITTLE BROTHER LISTENING TO REALLY CHEESY DANCE MUSIC, WOULD YOU:

A)  TIE HIM UP AND FORCE HIM TO LISTEN TO YOUR FAVOURITE BAND

C)  TELL HIM TO LEARN AN INSTRUMENT

We would break his legs so that he can no longer dance.  We would teach him to dance the head of bangs and force feed him rock music so he can become a real man. 

FINALLY, IF YOU'D WON EMERGENZA FESTIVAL AND WENT TO GERMANY TO PLAY THE HUGE STAGE AND COULD ONLY TAKE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING WITH YOU WHAT WOULD IT BE?

A) A REALLY GOOD CAMERA

B) EXTRA MONEY

C) GIRLFRIEND/BOYFRIEND

We would take the extra money for beers.  We  would also take extra beer because Germany is not ready for intake level of Australian consumption. 



Are we sure about the beer consumption in Germany?.......let's hope the boys make it all the way so that we can take pictures of drunk Sydney boys laying around in the German mud!
