LET'S TALK ABOUT YOUR BAND NAME: WHO CHOSE IT AND WHY?

The lead singer had a few band name suggestions and we found this one as a band to be the most suitable.

PLEASE TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR BAND: HOW AND WHEN WAS IT BORN?
We formed in 2014 through our music college in geelong. Oxygen College

WHEN DID YOUR INTEREST IN MUSIC BEGIN? AND HOW HAS YOUR MUSIC  
CHANGED FROM THE MOMENT YOU BEGAN TO PLAY TOGETHER?
We’ve all come from different roads of music. Whether it be a 12 year hard rock background on the guitar, to a 10 year classically trained saxophonist turned singer. As a band, we have grown together and separately in our direction of song writting as we continue this path of hard rock.

WHAT ARE YOUR MUSICAL INFLUENCES?
Together, our influences would consist of Alter Bridge, Foo Fighters, Guns and Roses and Tool.

IS THERE A SONG THAT IS SPECIAL FOR YOU? IF SO, WHICH ONE AND WHY?
Our song ‘Take it All’ which we have a music video for on youtube. It’s our first song we wrote as a band and to some of our members it’s still our best.

WHERE DO YOU GET INSPIRATION TO WRITE SONGS (EVENTS, MOOD....)?
It normally starts with a musical idea. Then the singer will talk about the kind of feel with the music and how the band would like to interrupt the song. from that the lyrics are formed. 

HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT EMERGENZA FESTIVAL AND WHY YOU DECIDED TO TAKE PART IN IT?
Jorda, the lead singer got drunk one night and randomly added Francesca who works for the Festival. From their, we got aquatinted and the ball got rolling.

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM EMERGENZA AND HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR  
FIRST EMERGENZA CONCERT?
We don’t expect anything more then to embrace the opportunity to play at some great venues. There is always tough competition. We’re going to put on the best show we possibly can and see where that takes us. We’re very excited.
