You have participated in the Emergenza Festival Edition 2014/2015. What made you decide to take part in it?
Emergenza gives a lot of newcomer bands a chance to be heard!
At this competition bands can show their skills in front of a competent jury!
A perfect opportunity for Syndicate and a perfect opportunity to gain the audience!

As you approach the world final, what is your state of mind?
X-CITERIZM!!!!!
Taubertal-Festival is one of the biggest places to play in Germany with a long history, great bands and lots of visitors!
For us it's a honor to share “the boards that mean the world” with great bands!

What is your best memory from your Emergenza experience?
We have a bunch of great memories!
To rock the stage at the German finals in Cologne, where famous bands and musicians played at, in front of us many fans singing our songs by heart, became a great experience for us!

What's behind your band's name? Any specific meaning?
The name “Syndicate” is derived from the early Chicago “Outfit”! The Outfit was one of the biggest mafia-scenes in the World and became famousity with Al Capone!

If you had to choose a famous song that represents your band...which one would it be?
Rock you like a Hurricane - Scorpions

If your band had another name, what would it be?
“Chicago-Outfit” or “The Outfit”

Can you tell us a funny story or anecdote about your experience on stage?
Once we played a show and our singer turned himself like a whirl...in his hands the micro stand...in a flash he threw the stand into the base drum (not on purpose)...the answer: the drummer darts the drumsticks to him but the show goes on!

What can audiences expect from one of your live performances?
A massive load of energy and a lot of fun with catchy tunes, hard riffs and thrilling melodies!

Before you go on stage, do you have a ritual or a good luck charm that goes everywhere with you?
First: Singer needs to get taped in case of his dorsal disease (to jump and act like a new born teenager!)
Second: Get together before rockin´ on stage.. taking a little shot allows us to calm down and be ready to rock!

What is your dream gig?
Headliner at Rock am Ring, a dream would come true!

Do you guys have any hobbies? What do you do when you don’t play?
Having a BBQ!

If you could invite a band or an artist at your party, dead or alive, who would it be
ELVIS...the one and only
He´s the father of rock´n roll and you´ll find a lot of stuff he did in the rock music of today!

What are your short to medium term plans after the international final?
Playing shows with H-Blockx, Royal Republic and Madsen, writing and recording!

Why do you think you deserve to win the 2015 Festival edition?
We haven´t reinvented the wheel of music BUT in our view everything we do is well considered and perfectly adjusted based on a well conceived concept.
