PLEASE TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR BAND: HOW AND WHEN WAS IT BORN?

Who's this? are a pedal stompin', tail feather shaken' entourage of sarcastic lunatics; tangled together by deep transcending grooves of rock'n'rolla.  Officially plucking euphonic vibrations from the air since 2013.

WHEN DID YOUR INTEREST IN MUSIC BEGIN? AND HOW HAS YOUR MUSIC CHANGED FROM THE MOMENT YOU BEGAN TO PLAY TOGETHER?

Lindsay, Sean and Lewis have been bro's before ho's for as long as they know's.  Through playing together, the trio have learned not to take things too seriously, both in music and in life.


HOW DO YOU CREATE A SONG? (WHO WRITES LYRICS, WHO MUSIC, ETC...?)

The Who's this? writing technique ranges from the precision execution of manuscript, to soberness questionable corroborees involving Tibetan singing bowls and tape echoes.  (That was an actual thing).

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC TO PEOPLE WHO DOESN'T KNOW YOU?

The music is best described as "insert CD and actually pay attention for a change.  No, don't go make a coffee, sit your ass down and listen".

WHICH BANDS INSPIRED AND INSPIRE YOU?

We love checking out the incredible local talent Melbourne has to offer, though we also have a soft spot for international garbage.  Somewhere between Baroque and Synth Pop.

TALK US ABOUT THE PECULIARITIES OF YOUR MUSIC!

The peculiarities of the music stem directly from the peculiarities of the individuals.  Lindsay is a jabbering yet strangely intelligent fool and his lyrics touch you in strange places then tell your mum about it.  Sean bangs things.  Sometimes soft and sensually.  Sometimes rough like a rhino.  Lewis pretends he knows what he's doing until it pays off and then promptly forgets about it again.  Put it all in a big ol' pot of water, add 8kg of assorted pedals and some cumin.  Stir three times clockwise and eleventy-nine times counter-clockwise then put the spoon in a tree and you'll have something vaguely resembling the Who's this? sound.

HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT EMERGENZA FESTIVAL AND WHY YOU DECIDED TO TAKE PART IN IT?

Having known a few bands travelling to Germany through Emergenza (Rhys Crimmin and the Toms, Mercury White), we thought it was about time we took a stab.
  
WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM EMERGENZA AND HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR FIRST EMERGENZA CONCERT?

From Emergenza, we expect at least one slab, a clay pot of pure Armenian honey and a jar of home brand pickles before playing to some excited people at every show on the way to Germany.  No exceptions.
