PLEASE TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR BAND: HOW AND WHEN WAS IT BORN?
City at Midnight started as a discussion about a year ago at a local club between Josh and Justin. It wasn't until we acquired bassist Justin that things started moving forward.
WHEN DID YOUR INTEREST IN MUSIC BEGIN? AND HOW HAS YOUR MUSIC CHANGED FROM THE MOMENT YOU BEGAN TO PLAY TOGETHER?
We had all been playing for years earlier, trying to find the right combination of musos to let our creations out, we decided right from the get go to start writing and our genre just poured out into our first track, Alone With You.

HOW DO YOU CREATE A SONG? (WHO WRITES LYRICS, WHO MUSIC, ETC...?)
We all write our own parts within our tunes but we also take each others advice on what could work better, it's a lot easier to get the track to the level we want it that way.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC TO PEOPLE WHO DOESN'T KNOW YOU?
Our music tends to have an alt indy rock feel as well as a big pop punk influence.
WHICH BANDS INSPIRED AND INSPIRE YOU?
As bands like Arctic monkeys,The kooks, Blink 182, the black keys and placebo drive our sound.
TALK US ABOUT THE PECULIARITIES OF YOUR MUSIC!
Every time we are writing a tune we try to make it completely different to the last yet still keep the "City at Midnight" sound. Every note,chord and beat has its own place and everything is quite thought out within our songwriting process.
WHY YOU DECIDED TO TAKE PART IN EMERGENZA FESTIVAL? WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM EMERGENZA AND HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR FIRST EMERGENZA CONCERT?
We decided to take part within the Emergenza festival to be able to share our creations with as many people as we possibly can, and when april 15th rolls around City at Midnight will get the Espy Basement floors shaking.
