Constant Flight band will take part in Emergenza Festival Australia!

Let's meet the band that “aim to create a gateway or a safehaven that can be entered and remembered”, let's meet Constant Flight from Sydney!

The interview with Constant flight, live @ The Lair @ Metro Theatre on Thursday, March 26
    th for Emergenza Festival Australia:

PLEASE TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR BAND: HOW AND WHEN WAS IT BORN?
Constant Flight formed at the end of 2014 Including from former Solo act Miracle Remedy (Tom Baker), Adding Adam Bienkowski & Ryan Silberbach (long time friends) to the lineup. Each have a unique blend of artistic integrity in their approach to writing and performing music. ConstantFlight was born so as electronic artists we could be performing productions live as opposed to playing a track by track set.

WHEN DID YOUR INTEREST IN MUSIC BEGIN?
Tom (Bakes) "I come from a post-hardcore & pop-punk background, singing and playing Bass guitar, it's cool bringing those influences into our electronic compositions.
Adzy:" Ye and I'm the piano man, which helps us to come up with the basic ideas on our melodies, Bakes knows what he's doing too.
Ryan is the analyst and judgment guru, he is the outside and absolute median in the group with an appreciation for all styles of music, he plays the critic and suggests any final direction before they are finished.

AND HOW HAS YOUR MUSIC CHANGED FROM THE MOMENT YOU BEGAN TO PLAY TOGETHER?
Since forming the 3 piece we have grown massively in our music direction, being forced into a slight compromise due to the different backgrounds we all have, however we believe now to have found our place in performing live and producing live sounding electronic.
    #unitedelectronicfamilies.
    Our album is 117bpm-150bpm xD

HOW DO YOU CREATE A SONG? (WHO WRITES LYRICS, WHO MUSIC, ETC...?)
Tom: Usually Adam or I will create the basis and structure of a track seperately and then come together in the studio and work on it, and then Ryan has the finishing critiques and comments on the final outcome of the track. We have an unbelievably diverse collection of productions, we always are thinking about how we would perform our productions and how they would fit into a live setting.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC TO PEOPLE WHO DOESN'T KNOW YOU?
We aim to influence the listeners chemical balance. Whether that be through relevant and thought provoking lyrics which are
percieved uniquely due to each listeners circumstance, or through the arrangement of the frequencies between the bass and mids with relevance to the chord structure and melody selection, even in our pure dance tracks we aim to have our tunes subconciously move the listener in a direction of positivity and challenge the current barriers of existence, in whichever field is percieved by them. We aim to create a gateway or a safehaven that can be entered and remembered.

WHICH BANDS/ARTISTS INSPIRED AND INSPIRE YOU?
Our inspirations come from everywhere, as our backgrounds are so different, but as a collective our main influences come from the artists that have a genuine integrity about their performances and music productions: Rage Against The Machine, Porter Robinson, Deadmau5, Rusko, Pre 2013 Dash Berlin, Claptone.

TALK US ABOUT THE PECULIARITIES OF YOUR MUSIC!
We don't restrict our tracks with genres so you can always expect a variety of responses from our fans and our live sets are always unique when we are performing our own tracks, the journey is the same, the path is just slightly different.

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM EMERGENZA AND HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR FIRST
    EMERGENZA CONCERT?
We are not really sure to be honest, it will be interesting to mingle with full on live rock bands, with our electronic take to live performing with Ableton Live 9, Touchpads, Drum Maschines and Keyboard amoung the Vocals so will be quite interesting to see how it all goes down :D
