This female fronted hard rock band is gearing up to battle it out in a long line up of local talent in the state final of Emergenza Festival Australia. Whatever the turn out may be, there’s one absolutely f@#king awesome thing about the state final—Chained Lizard will be rocking out on stage at the prestigious Hi-Fi in Melbourne! You won’t want to miss this killer band as they make the most of their moment in the limelight. Before they go on, they sat down to catch up with us:

EXPLAIN TO US WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT YOUR BAND FROM ANY OTHER BAND IN YOUR GENRE?
We only play original music and have a female vocalist backed up with all boys on instruments and back up vocals. We have a very unique sound and it is difficult to compare us to any other band.

WHAT FIRST GOT YOU INTO SONG WRITING AND PLAYING LIVE?
After learning to play our instruments and having so much fun, we decided to put together a band and create original music that people can have a great time listening to while we perform live for them!

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT A CHAINED LIZARD GIG?
The massive adrenaline! High energy! And dynamic songs!

WHAT’S THE MOST INSANE PART OF EMERGENZA SO FAR?
Every show we've played for Emergenza has been insane! We love performing for a huge crowd and seeing the reactions on everyone's faces! Can't wait to play the Hi-Fi!

HOW’S IT FEEL TO BE IN THE STATE FINALS? AND WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST ABOUT PLAYING THE HI-FI?
It is a great feeling! We're so proud that we've made it this far and have the opportunity to play at a rad venue! We're looking forward to putting on an amazing show for the crowd and the judges! And thank you to all our fans for all the support they've given us!
