EXPLAIN TO US WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT YOUR BAND FROM ANY OTHER BAND IN YOUR GENRE?
All of us come from different music influences and that helps produce our unique sound. Blending our rock music with metal, funk and rap—that ultimately makes Crossbone Carnival different from the rest.

WHAT FIRST GOT YOU INTO SONG WRITING AND PLAYING LIVE?
I first started writing poems when I was about 13 and moved into writing songs when I started singing lessons and playing the clarinet and keyboard for the school concert band. Playing live was definitely influenced by watching my favourite bands and thinking, I want to do that! I think for all of us, the feeling inside that we get from playing live is pure bliss... So you could say, love got us where we are today.

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT A CROSSBONE CARNIVAL GIG?
Our original rocking tunes with the abundance of energy we bring to our gigs makes us special. There is mystery, theatre and music that draws you in and sends you to all different places.

WHAT’S THE MOST INSANE PART OF EMERGENZA SO FAR?
Being able to promote our music more in well-established venues. The ultimate opportunity to play in Germany for your country, now that's insane!! Woo hoo!

HOW’S IT FEEL TO BE IN THE STATE FINALS? AND WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST ABOUT PLAYING THE HI-FI?
The band and fans are pumped we're in the finals—it feels so good! We're all very happy we have got this far. The thing we are also looking very forward to playing at Hi-Fi Bar is showing the judges and fans what we’re made of, in a music kind of way! We're ready to rock!!
