As this grunge blues two-piece is gearing up for a kicking set at The Factory Theatre for the semifinals, they take time out to catch up with their old friends at Emergenza Festival. The Rumours talk the first round and what might be in store this Thursday night, November 13th at The Factory. FOR THOSE WHO DIDN’T GET TO SEE YOU IN THE FIRST ROUND, CAN YOU INTRODUCE US TO YOUR BAND THE RUMOURS?
So, we are a two-piece band, and we play LOUD!

WHAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE FIRST ROUND FOR YOU?
That we got through.

OUT OF ALL THE SONGS YOU PLAYED, WHICH ONE GOT THE BIGGEST REACTION OUT OF THE CROWD AND WHY DO YOU THINK THAT IS?
Ah, not too sure really, but it could of been "Mama".

CAN YOU TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE IN THE FIRST ROUND AND WHAT YOU LEARNED FROM IT?
What we learnt from the first round is it's not about how good your band is but more of a popularity contest. As long as you invite all your friends to vote you will get through.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO BETWEEN GIGS AND WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING TO PREPARE FOR THE NEXT PHASE OF THE COMPETITION?
Since the heats we have been back in the studio recording, and also did a music video. The song is called "I Told You"... here is a link to the clip!

SO HOW DOES IT FEEL BEING ONE STEP CLOSER TO THE EMERGENZA FINALS?

WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO TAKE AWAY FROM YOUR UPCOMING CONCERT AT THE FACTORY THEATRE?
Been wanting to play that venue for a while, great venue and sound!
