Don’t miss your chance to catch Calibre on stage at The Gov this Wednesday, October 29th when they’re set to go head to head with five other rocking local bands for round one of Emergenza Festival Australia. They’ve got an edgy sound, set off by gritty rock vocals and wailing electric guitar set over an acoustic rhythm section. As the band puts it in their own words, “…[the] mind set was about commercial, sassy rock ballads, acoustic and ballsy guitars together.” Songs range from eerie-metal-inspired to sentimental-rock-ballad. There’s one thing for sure: every song is performed with the utmost conviction—pure soul exploding out of every note.
