As Sydney band Capewolf is getting psyched up to showcase some of their latest original indie pop tunes on stage at The Lair this Thursday, October 9th for round one of Emergenza Festival Australia, they sit down to share a few words with us. Check out the interview here:

WHAT'S THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE NAME CAPEWOLF?
We were playing around with different band names and those two words just came up when we were throwing around ideas so we put them together and the name just stuck.

WHO ARE THE MEMBERS IN THE BAND?
We have Astari on vocals, Nat on guitar, Rhian on bass, Ronnie on guitar and backing vocals and Nicolai on drums.

IF YOU COULD DESCRIBE YOUR SOUND IN THREE WORDS, WHAT WOULD THEY BE?
Lyrical, Indie, Rock.

WHO ARE SOME OF YOUR MAJOR MUSICAL INFLUENCES?
Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, London Grammar and Sticky Fingers.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST ABOUT YOUR SHOW AT THE LAIR?
We are looking forward to seeing all our friends in the crowd and performing our new original material we have been working on.

WHAT'S THE CRAZIEST THING YOU'VE DONE TOGETHER AS A BAND?
I don’t really think we can really answer this, as we have recently had a lot of new members, so we are yet to experience a craziest moment within the band!

WITH OTHER BATTLE OF THE BANDS COMPETITIONS AROUND, WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE EMERGENZA?
We chose this competition because it gave us a chance to perform at a well-known venue and was another great opportunity to perform live.
