Their exploration of love, loss, longing and angst make their songs extremely personal and relatable at the same time—themes we all have our own relationship with. Check out songs like “The Drugs Were A Game”, whose simple, harmonic chord structure and slow, heart-achingly melancholy lyrics suck you right into the song—no turning back. The quicker paced “Mr. Mad”—driven forward by rhythm acoustic guitar strumming—is still pining in its nature, showcasing a wistful, lilting vocal line.
