Lipstuck: A Female Rock Tour De Force

Forceful female vocals at the forefront of this all girl rock band from Melbourne

Although this all girl band doesn’t mind flaunting their femininity by wearing outrageous shades of lipstick at their gigs, their hard rocking, grunge infused tunes make them serious rivals for the boys. Self-described as grunge, edgy and rock, these girls take influence from bands like Arctic Monkeys, The Cure and Pink Floyd, and fill out their typical rock set up with the addition of trumpet, keys, and layered backing vocals. Check out a live version of their song “Fade” to get a taste of their soulful stage performance. With the forceful lead female vocals that add a bluesy component to their upbeat rock vibe, this one should definitely get you pumped up to see them live. Luckily you have your chance tonight when Lipstuck takes the stage at The Espy this Friday, September 12th for round one of Emergenza Festival Australia. Click here for more show info.
