We will fully concede Tripika his self-description as vibrant, melodic, electronic—and to that we might add groovy, entrancing, hypnotizing. Inspired by his extensive experience with hallucinogens—thus the name Tripika—his music will definitely get your mind opened up to new sensations. Check out “No Regrets” for an epic, body moving experience and the more refined “Voices In My Head” to hear classic piano turn into a brutal dubstep. Performing live can be daunting when you’re flying solo and you’ve got so much epic groove going on in your sound, but Tripika plans on trying his hand at laying it all down with a simple midi keyboard, laptop, and guitar this weekend at The Lair for his first ever live performance.
