Sydney band Stacy Gacy don’t bother arguing with anyone who insists punk is dead—instead they play their screaming, out of control, punk tunes to get their point across. With a horror inspired band name, garage sound, metal riffs, and California hardcore groove, this band covers a whole lot of territory in just a few songs. Check out “Oi” where they take on a kind of Fu Manchu-on-crack vibe or “Hey! No Way!” where their sound is reminiscent of the Dead Kennedy’s. Self-described as raw, chaotic party, they’ve been known to play double sets back to back, play through painful injuries, and jump on bar tops to perform.
