The motto of Melbourne band Chaser is why not both? What they mean is, why can’t they have their cake and eat it too? No use telling them they can only play one kind of music…. They’re free to choose, and the combination is magical. These guys chase down their hard funky licks and punchy rhythm section with smooth pop vocals, in the vein of some of their favourite artists like Maroon 5 and Muse, to come up with original tunes that are both hard rocking and poppy at the same time.
