This band from just outside Melbourne utilizes perfectly simply punk rock chord progressions to write songs that are instantly relatable and memorable. Taking influence from bands like Rise Against, Rage Against The Machine, Sum 41, and Offspring, they combine fast, splashing rhythm sections, distorted guitar and the occasional shredding of the lead electric guitar. Edgy vocals and great melodies like in the hook of their original song “Broken Clocks” make them impossible not to sing along—or slam dance—to. This weekend Beneath Tomorrow’s Sun are taking their attitude-infused punk rock tunes from the suburbs of Werribee and shining some Melbourne sun on them. Check them out live when they showcase at The Espy in Melbourne tomorrow night, August 1st for round one of Emergenza Festival Australia. As the band says, everything they do is crazy… so come down and get crazy with them tomorrow night at The Espy! Click here for more show info.
