Beneath Tomorrow’s Sun is all about getting out of the suburbs of Werribee and getting closer to the heart of the Melbourne music scene. Well, that’s just what they’re going to do when they hit the stage at the prestigious Espy for round one of Emergenza Festival Australia. HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE NAME BENEATH TOMORROW'S SUN?
This is funny, because an ex band member came up with the name Beneath Tomorrow's Sun and how he got the name we're not entirely too sure. After having it for a while we decided to keep it.

WHO PLAYS WHAT IN THE BAND AND WHAT KEEPS YOU INSPIRED TO PLAY MUSIC TOGETHER?
So, starting from most important to least important (just messing around), Jack is the vocalist, Adam is the guitarist, Tyson is the bassist, and Aaron is the drummer. We've never really thought of what keeps us going, but we'd have to say that we have lots of fun playing together, even outside of the music. After we got offered gigs, we started to take it more seriously and we just enjoyed the ride.

IF YOU COULD DESCRIBE YOUR SOUND IN THREE WORDS, WHAT WOULD THEY BE?
Big Time Swag. Yeah, as you can see, we really do like to joke around—that’s what keeps us going.

WHO ARE SOME OF YOUR MAJOR MUSICAL INFLUENCES?
Mainly, Rise Against, Rage Against The Machine, Sum 41, Offspring.

WHAT'S THE CRAZIEST THING YOU'VE DONE TOGETHER AS A BAND?
Everything.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST ABOUT YOUR SHOW AT THE ESPY?
Experiencing the music scene outside of our hometown of Werribee and seeing other bands from other sides of Victoria all coming together. Also playing in a venue that has a reputation that The Espy has.

WITH OTHER BATTLE OF THE BANDS COMPETITIONS AROUND, WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE EMERGENZA?
Mainly to get ourselves outside of Werribee and to get ourselves known in other places of Melbourne.
