    Anything Goes with Crossbone Carnival

This metal crossover band from Melbourne really mixes it up with classic rock, metal and hip hop influences—catch them at The Espy this Sunday, June 22nd

In our interview with the band, Crossbone Carnival told us a story of how they once repurposed a hotel room and as a private concert venue, letting recklessness ensue until they eventually got kicked out. We’re confident that tomorrow night at The Espy will have that same sort of lawless energy when these guys take the stage for the first step in Emergenza Festival Australia. With the Carnival, it’s anything goes—that is, as long as it rocks. Influences as diverse at The Who, Iggy Pop, Avenged Sevenfold and Black Sabbath seep their way into the music of Crossbone Carnival, and what comes out is something totally their own. Bluesy backbeats, edgy yet catchy melodies, shredding guitar, and even hip hop vocals. Check out two of their singles “Partners in Crime” and “Ariel” on the band’s Facebook page to get you in the Crossbone Carnival mood. And don’t miss your chance to see their live gig this Sunday, June 22nd. Click here for more show info.
