    Stealing the Show: Sunday Heist

Melbourne band Sunday Heist are looking forward to putting on a killer live set this Sunday, June 22nd at The Espy

Self-described as “definitely not terrible”, we would go one step further and say Sunday Heist are actually pretty damn good. Influenced by standard pop rock—anything from The Beatles to The Arctic Monkeys—their music takes on a more edgy vibe. Strong pop rock melodies are like the cherry on top of the gritty pop punk rhythm section that drives their songs forward like a freight train, splashy drums, and super crunchy, bluesy lead guitar. Check out songs like “Bite the Bullet” and “Nightmares” off of their debut EP M1, which you can stream on the band’s Soundcloud page. They might start off soft in “Nightmares”, but before you know it’s full steam ahead—will definitely get you pumped up to see them live. Tomorrow night Sunday Heist will take a break from Sunday relaxation and kick things into gear on stage at The Espy for round one of Emergenza Festival Australia. Don’t miss your chance to see them then. More show info here.
