Emma Quee uses her songwriting as a diary—a way of expressing her inner thoughts and emotions. And the result is a kind of indie pop crossover with lyrics that are easily relatable and forceful melodies that drive their way deep into your soul. She has a great range in her original material, with the common denominator being her visionary, playful approach to her lyrics. Each song is a very visual story that plays out with every word. On the heels of her debut EP release last November she’s been gigging regularly, even playing at the Opera House—twice!
