Self-described as purple monkey dishwasher music, it’s easy to imagine how serious Don't Hit Ron take themselves. In fact, they prefer that their audience sits and doesn’t create any kind of distraction for them when they play live... psych!! Their main goal when playing live is definitely to get their public to go wild. The more dancing the better. And it’s not difficult at all. With their fusion of funk swing and ska, the bright horn section, and energetic vocal delivery, you’d be hard bent not to dance… They’re in the process of putting together material for their debut EP, and in the meantime, have just showcased their original tunes on stage at The Lair for round one of Emergenza Festival Australia.
