This four-piece blues rock band from Melbourne incorporates funkiness and even a swampy southern feel into their slide guitar-heavy sound. The earworm lyrics, smooth vocals and ridiculously catchy riffs of Dr Malone balance out their songs and make them more than fitting for the pop market. Recorded at their home studio, the songs you can find on the band’s Reverbnation page are masterfully mixed, incorporating lots of groovy percussion and vocal doubling.

Their song “Believer” mixes a kind of Depeche Mode sultriness with the twangy sound of the slide guitar to create a totally new and infectious sound that belongs only to Dr Malone.
