The Moral Panics will have you totally and completely convinced after the very first listen. They’ve got that badass kind of energy that’s totally infectious, killer instrumentals to back it up, and two singles on the band’s Facebook page to provide the proof. “And There He Goes” starts off with a super sweet, kind of White Stripes simplicity in the bass line that you can’t help but move to, perfect crunch to the rhythm guitar, and then comes the edgy voice of the bad girl vocalist.
It’s the kind of song every guitarist wants to wail to and every singer wants to let loose to at the top of their lungs. Then there’s the equally fiery and even funkier “Walk Me Away”, which should get you psyched up for seeing them live. New to performing, The Moral Panics are fearlessly taking to the stage at The Espy on Sunday, March 30th for round one of Emergenza Festival Australia. They may not have a long list of gigs under their belts just yet—but take it from us—they’ve got what it takes. Don’t miss it.
