Intoxicated Memories Bring us Explosive Punk Rock

Local Melbourne band Intoxicated Memories recall classic punk bands in their power chord based explosive street punk

Melbourne punk rock band Intoxicated Memories demonstrates the magic that three power chords have to get your blood going. Their music—together with lyrics centred on political and social issues—manages to encapsulate all the gritty, uncouth energy of classic punk rock acts like The Ramones, Bad Religion, and Rise Against. Intoxicated Memories takes it to a totally new, explosive level with hardcore growling complimenting the sassy, punk vocals, and super-crunchy guitars.

The line-up includes David Mullens on guitar, Jackson Lehman on drums, Matthew O’Neill on vocals, Tommy Schembri on bass. Check out the band’s three-song demo on their Facebook band page to hear their explosive energy for yourself. Songs like “Ruin Your Life” and “Paralysed” will definitely get you pumped to see them live.

This Saturday, March 29th Intoxicated Memories trade their dingy garage for the stage at The Espy armed with some brand new material. Their going to battle it out against a great line up of local bands in round one of Emergenza Festival Australia, and one thing’s for sure: you’re not going to want to miss this incredibly high-energy show.
